Feb. 11, 1926
Sixty-six people attended a costume party at O. B. Anderson’s Friday night in Kego. Guests came in costumes representing all parts of the country, and games were played, and a lunch was served.
Boy River is to have a new four-room modern school building ready for occupancy at the beginning of the next school year.
Art Lund came down to Wabedo Sunday to work for Art Weis at the sawmill.

Feb. 9, 1950
James William Cloud and Christine Fisherman, both of Federal Dam, applied for a marriage license on February 10.
Robert Blais, Remer and Orrin W. Forbord, Boy River were to leave February 14 for induction into the armed forces.

Feb. 4, 1976
Oscar Nyvall returned home from a 2-year stint with the Army in Germany. His sister Mary Elllen drove him home from Minneapolis.
The Fireplace King firm north of Hackensack sustained extensive damage in an early morning fire on January 21. The addition was saved, but the original structure was destroyed.
On Sunday 32 relatives of the Jordan family celebrated the retirement of Merritt Jordan from the Forestry Service and retirement of his wife Florence Nyvall Jordan from her many years of hospital service. The gathering was at Mike and Marilyn Harmon’s home in Pequot lakes.

Dylan Stallings, a Northland senior, has been selected as a member of the football team representing Minnesota in the 2001 Down Under Bowl which will take place in Queensland, Australia in June.
Disa Hillstrom and Trevor Daucsavage, together with their parents Dale and Dee Hillstrom of Remer and Terry and Kathy Daucsavage of Grand Fords, ND announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
