Cass County Government offices to conduct fire drill to strengthen emergency preparedness
Cass County Government Offices will be conducting fire drills during the week of October 6th, reinforcing their commitment to safety and preparedness. The drills will take place at Cass County Government Offices throughout the week to coincide with National Fire Prevention Week and aim to ensure that employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond effectively in the event of a fire emergency.
Participants will follow designated evacuation routes, assemble at pre-determined meeting points, and receive guidance on fire safety best practices.
Visitors to Cass County Government Offices during this week may experience slight delays in services while the fire drills are being conducted. If you happen to be present during a drill at one of the offices, you are welcome—and encouraged—to participate in the exercise.
Fire drills will take place at 8:30 a.m. at the following locations and dates:
• Courthouse Annex and Land Department, Monday, October 6, 2025
• Highway Department (Walker Location) and Health, Human & Veteran Services, Tuesday, October 7, 2025
• Highway Department Satellite Shop locations, Wednesday, October 8, 2025
• Law Enforcement Center and Courthouse, Thursday, October 9, 2025
Cass County encourages all individuals and businesses to prioritize fire safety and conduct regular drills to enhance readiness.
