On Saturday, Sept. 20th, the Backus Lions did their fall roadside cleanup. This year they enlisted some help from the Backus Wolverines Trap Team. We appreciate their help and wish them a successful trap shooting season. Helping with the cleanup were Jordan Mortenson and his two daughters, Emmy and Lila; Lion members Bob Vaughn, Diane Vaughn, LeRoy Jordan, Tracy Wacker, Cora Hohnstadt and Donna Holden. The Backus Lions do roadside cleanup in the spring and fall. This fall they picked up seven bags of garbage. The Lions encourage drivers to have a trash bag in their car for holding garbage until they get home.  Let’s all help to keep our roadsides clean. Photo submitted.
