   Northland High School will be celebrating Homecoming week Sept. 15 - 19. The staff and students will participate in many events and dress-up days throughout the week.

   The students will kick off dress-up days on Monday with “Pajama Day” by rolling out of bed and coming to school. The Storm JV football team will host Sebeka in Hill City with kick-off at 4:30 p.m. 

   Tuesday’s dress-up theme is “America Day” with student’s wearing Red, White and Blue to show their spirit for their country. That night the Storm Volleyball team will host Deer River in Hill City. 7th grade game begins at 5:30 p.m. JV game at 5:45 p.m., 8th grade game at 6:30 p.m. and the Varsity game starts at 7:00 p.m. The War Eagles will travel to Grand Rapids with action beginning at 4 p.m.

   Wednesday’s dress-up theme is “Class Color Day” with students wearing class colors. That evening there will be a pizza party in the commons for students with the annual student vs student vs staff volleyball tournament for 6th - 12th grade students starting at 5:30 p.m.

   Thursday’s dress-up theme is “Pink Out Day” where all students are encouraged to wear as much pink as possible. That evening the Storm Junior High football team will head to Carlton-Wrenshall  and face off against the Raptors NC with kick-off at 5:30 p.m. The Storm Volleyball girls will host Crosby-Ironton with the C-Squad and 7th grade games beginning at 4:30 p.m., 8th grade beginning at 5:30 p.m., JV game beginning at 5:45 p.m. and the Varsity game starting at 7:00 p.m.

   Friday’s dress-up theme is “Eagle Pride Day” with students decking out in their Eagle attire.  The Homecoming Coronation will take place at 10:30 a.m. in the Elementary Gym. That night 9th - 12th grade students will enjoy the Homecoming Dance being held at Northland High School from 7 to 9 p.m.. 

   Join in the fun all week with volleyball games, a cross country meet, the coronation and a football game.
