   Kim Archer of Remer lost her home and belongings in a fire in April.  She is a long time resident of Remer, she works in the community, and is a valued member of the Northland Lions Club serving as the Secretary.  A benefit for Kim will be held on Saturday, September 27 from 1 to 4 p.m. at  The Source in Remer.

   A pulled-pork meal will be served with a free will donation.  There will be raffles, a 50-50 raffle, and a silent auction.  To donate silent auction items or baked goods for the silent auction, please contact Nancy Stefan at 218-838-6543 or Gail Martin at 218-820-2752. There has been an account set up at First National Bank North, Remer. Donations are greatly appreciated.
