100 Women Who Care host 7th Annual Giving Event

100 Women Who Care of the Leech Lake Area will hold their 7th Giving event at the Arvig Walker Area Community Center (in the Rotary Room) on Monday, October 6, 2025 with sign in from 5-5:30 pm and the One Hour event beginning at 5:30pm.

The event will last one hour which includes making your $100.00 donation (or what you are able), meeting new people, enjoying a light snack, nominating (if you wish) a Leech Lake area 501c3 non profit organization and most importantly-- voting on the non-profit. This vote will determine which non-profit of the three is selected to receive the entire funds raised at this event.  Anyone making their donation may nominate a non-profit that has 501c3 documentation and we can look it up for you the night of the event if you don’t have the ID number.

Come to the meeting and see this amazing mission in action. Everyone who donates and is present gets a vote! And bring a friend!!!

Together we can make a difference. (And you may contribute even if you cannot make the event date!)

At this giving event, we are asking you to consider bringing a donation, (not required) of products needed by WHA at this time to help meet the needs of some youth. The items include teen underwear both boys and girls in all sizes as well as feminine hygiene products.

Also please check out the main Facebook page “100 Women Who Care in the Leech Lake Area” for any updates, reminders and you may contact Margie Richardson 218-760-4715 or Mar Kuha 218-839-1974  if you have any questions. We hope to see you there!
