   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 46 golfers forming 12 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole” at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for Sept. 2 are:

   The team winning first place with a 203 included: Mike Press, 68; Danny Divot, 72; Dale Hillstrom, 73 and Kenny Schleif, 74.

   The team walking home with second place with a 207 included: Al Hartmann, 67; Steve Johnson, 74; Craig Anderson, 80 and Ron Whetter, 81.

   The team coming in third place, with a 210 included: Tom Gohn, 72; Ernie Pulido, 75; Tom Novak, 79 and Dallas Anderson, 79.

   Fourth place ended in a tie, with a 211, those teames included: Tom Theisen, 63; Blair Witt, 77; Rod Bothast, 81 and Steve Carolus AND Brad Duhr, 75; Cy Sorrells, 75; Doug Hoopman, 76 and Joe Halley, 78.

   Tom Theisen walked away with both the low gross and low net of the day with his 74 and 74-11=63.

   Joe Halley was closest to the pin on hole 12 at 11’11”. Closest to the pin on hole 17 was Dave Klosner at 20’6”. Mike Press had the longest putt on hole 9, while Kenny Schleif had the longest putt on hole 18. 

   Chip-ins were made by Jim Franz for a birdie; Ron Whetter for par, Tom Theisen for par; Scott Agre for par and Paul Dennie for a bogey.
