   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 48 golfers forming 13 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole” at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for August 26 are:

   The team winning first place with a 197 included: Mike Olson, 69; Brad Duhr, 70; Jim Ernst, 78 and Jocko Kline, 71.

   The team walking home with second place with a 198 included: Jim Zierden, 69; Jim Sletten, 77; Doug Hoopman, 74 and Bob Savre, 73.

   The team coming in third place, with a 202 included: Mike Haining, 74; Paul Dennie, 74; Harland Johnson, 68 and Rod Bothast 81.

   The team coming in fourth place, with a 203 included: Lowell Holland, 77; Tony Rannow, 69; Ron Whetter, 76 and Bill McKee, 70.

   The team taking home fifth place, with a 207 included: Rocky Berndt, 84; Terry Paul, 66; Bob Vaughn, 77 and Al Hartmann, 79.

   Mike Olson, had the low gross of the day with his 71. Low net went home with Terry Paul with his 80-14=66.

   Greg Payne was closest to the pin on hole 5 at 4’9”. Closest to the pin on hole 17 was Bob Vaughn at 7’11”. Ray Zittlow had the longest putt on hole 9, while Mike Olson had the longest putt on hole 18. 

   Chip-ins were made by Mike Press for Eagle; Greg Danaher for Par; Joe Maertens for Birdie; Dave Klosner for Birdie; Craig Severson for Par; Bob Vaughn for Par; Bob Savre for Birdie; Harland Johnson for Par; Kenny Schleif for Par; Tom Novak for Birdie; Guy Reierson for Birdie and Dale Hillstrom for Birdie.
