Falling in love again - with faith, family and life
Every marriage, every friendship, every bond between parent and child has seasons. There are moments of excitement and closeness, and there are times when love needs to be renewed. Often it’s when we slow down, give thanks, and ask for grace that we rediscover why we fell in love in the first place.
Faith works the same way. Our relationship with Jesus isn’t meant to stay frozen in the past. It grows as we grow, changes as life changes, and sometimes needs a fresh spark to remind us of God’s love.
That’s why St. Agnes Catholic Church in Walker is offering the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) — a course designed for anyone who wants to explore or rediscover the Catholic faith. Some come wondering if the Church is for them. Others are lifelong Catholics looking for a refresher. All are welcome.

Beginning Wednesday, October 29 and running through February 11, the group will meet weekly from 5:30–7:00 p.m. Each evening includes a free sponsored dinner, a chance to learn, and space for open conversation.
It’s not about pressure. It’s about invitation. Just as we choose to renew love with our spouse, children, or friends, OCIA offers a space to renew your love for God — or perhaps fall in love with Him for the very first time.
