   Local businesses are gearing up for a festive celebration as “Hallmark in Hackensack” returns Saturday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The town-wide event invites residents and visitors to sip, stroll, shop, and savor while supporting small businesses during the holiday season.

   Shops throughout Hackensack will host special vendors, offer discounts, and provide treats to help kick off the holidays in true community spirit.

   At Blue Ox Coffee House, guests can meet jewelry artist Cindi Becker and enjoy half-priced hot chocolate. Mark’s Market will feature Stormy K Creations and Minnesota-made product baskets ideal for gift-giving.

   The Big Dipper will welcome Jill Bakes with her gluten-free foods and desserts, along with their popular Chicken Wild Rice Soup. Second Home is offering 20% off all Christmas items and handmade earrings by Glory Oaks.

   At Southside Fuel Plus, shoppers can pick up Bubbl’r and Pepsi specials along with food samples, while Hackensack Lumber & Hardware is promising holiday spirit and in-store surprises.

   Local artisans and craftspeople will also be showcased at Rendezvous Brewing, which is hosting an array of makers and holding a holiday open house. Sun N Fun is offering 20% off all website t-shirts using the code HALLMARK.

   Shoppers can find additional deals at Kensack Karpet, which is offering 2-for-1 area rugs and 15% off window coverings. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Birchwood Char House will host several vendors, including All Sugared Up, Clearwater Creations, Northern Crust Bread, Pigs n Chicks BBQ and Booths Up North Wood Cuts.

   At Barrel & Vine, visitors can browse handmade creations from Sonenstahl Creations, Crazy Gramma Creations, Primitives by Carol Rae and Tangleweed Fiber Arts while enjoying drink specials.

   With festive décor, local makers, and a welcoming small-town atmosphere, organizers say the day offers a perfect way to support Hackensack’s business community while enjoying the kickoff to the holiday season.
