   Local non-profit Happy Dancing Turtle will host a holiday and seasonal décor swap from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, November 15 at the Happy Dancing Turtle office on the Hunt Utilities Group Resilient Living Campus, 2331 Dancing Wind Rd SW in Pine River. 

   “Preparing to celebrate the fall/winter holidays can be stressful and expensive,” said Jenny Hill, HDT staff and one of the organizers of the swap. “Having a fun way to pass along great  items you no longer need and also pick up new-to-you items for free is a win-win!  Let’s reuse what we no longer want, reduce trash, and get to know each other better!”

   At this no-cost event, participants may take items for free. You do not need to drop off items in order to take other items. Be aware the swap is intended for individuals and families—no resellers, please. Gently used items will be accepted from noon to 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 13 and 8 a.m. to noon on Friday, November 14.
