Nov. 12, 1925
Albert Zumbrunnen of Trelipe had the bad luck to have his truck catch fire Friday evening. The cab was burned and some other damage of less importance.
Between 50 and 60 people attended the party at Atwood’s Friday night in Kego.
Ben Clark, Roy Rose, Geo. Engelhart and Pete Werman were surveying the new road Monday which goes past Iowa Point across to Frank Hardy’s in Wabedo.

Nov. 10, 1950
Ted and Clarence Hopen built a chimney for Art Dewey of Turtle Lake this week.
Paul Tucker and Mrs. D. Fairbanks left Federal Dam Thursday for Brown’s Valley to visit their sister Emma. Mrs. John Fairbanks and Mrs. Tom O’Brien of Cass Lake joined them.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Probasco left Blind Lake Friday for Little Falls where they will spend the winter.

Nov. 20, 1975
Paul Zaffke is home in Longville on a 30-day furlough following his basic training at Fort Polk, Louisiana.
Mary Ellen Nyvall of Minneapolis spent the weekend with her folks, the Russ Nyvalls.
The Federal Dam fire department put out a fire at a house belonging to Grace Lego that was currently rented to Leonard Paper.

Lena E. Daniels, 102, formerly of Remer, was born to Paul and Lena Levens. She married Paul Daniels in 1915 and in 1919 they moved to their farm Remer. She was a midwife for several years. She died Nov. 17th.
Some people don’t have much to say but you have to listen a long time to find out.
