Nov. 5, 1925
The 5-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tanner was lost in the woods back of the Old Agency from 9:00 Wednesday morning to 5:00 Thursday afternoon. A search party of Walker high school boys found her.
Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Kline of Longville are moving to Boy River this week.
G,B. Case and Chester Emery of Pine Lake made a business trip to Akeley Tuesday afternoon.
75 Years Ago
Nov. 3, 1950
Edward Johnson, 75, of Kego township was found dead at his home having suffered a stroke. He came to Longville during WWI and has lived there since.
Mrs. Jerry Pospichel is spending a few days with her parents at Boy River while her husband went to Missouri last week where he has accepted a game warden job.
Harry McKeebe and Duane, Harold Ford and M. Hemmelman helped Norman Dauber saw wood Saturday afternoon in Blind Lake.

Nov. 13, 1975
Mr. and Mrs. Pat Tabaka became new owners of the Red Owl store on November 1st.
The Remer Area Lionelles met for the first regular meeting at Deer Haven on November 3rd.
Glen Giffen, Bob Kline, Bob Neururer and Tom Blackmoor spent the weekend goose hunting and deer hunting near Hallock.

Eugene Horton, 89, died Nov. 7. He was born to Victor and Lydia (Jung) Horton. His parents’ family, including two brothers, George and Bill and three sisters, Edna, Hattie, and Katherine were homesteaders in Longville.
Vivian (Frimood) Muyers, 88, died Oct. 5. She was born to Lillie (Hamilton) and Pete Frimood. The family moved to the Ponto Lake area in 1925. Vivian and Leo Muyres married in 1937. She cooked for the Holiday Girls Camp on Baby Lake for 35 years.
