Backus Legion hosts deer hunter’s weekend events
The Backus American Legion Auxiliary will host a bake sale on Friday, November 7th, starting at noon all proceeds are returned to the community.
On Saturday, November 8th the Auxiliary and SAL will be hosting a hunter’s dinner from 4 until 8 p.m. or until the food is gone, proceeds provide funds for scholarships for the community. For $14.00 enjoy a roasted turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, vegetable medley, cranberry sauce, buns, pie and coffee.
