     The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 43 golfers forming 11 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole” at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for June 17 are:

   The team winning first place with a 204 included: Bruce Black, 70; Rocky Berndt, 75; Lowell Holland, 78; Al Hartmann, 79.

   The team walking home with second place with a 205 included: Mike Olson, 71; Dave Klosner, 74; Ron Whetter, 78; Rod Bothast, 78.

   The team coming in third place, with a 207 included: Jim Lweis, 70; Doug Hoopman, 74; Tom Theisen, 77; Greg Danaher, 78.

   The team coming in fourth place, with a 209 included: Paul Dennie, 72; Tom Novak, 73; Craig Anderson, 74; Tim Klosner, 78.

   The team taking home fifth place, with a 212 included: Bob Seemann, 71; Sandy Trap, 74; Brent Jacobson, 76; Tim Klosner, 78. 

   Mike Olson earned the low gross of the day with his 74. Low net was shared by Jim Lewis and Bruce Black, with their 84-14=70 and 91-21=70, respectively.

   Mike Olson was closest to the pin on hole 15 at 1’10”. Closest to the pin on 17 was Harland Johnson at 10’0”. Tim Klosner had the longest putt on hole 9, while Harland Johnson had the longest putt on 18. 

   Chip-ins were made by Joe Maertens for birdie, Rocky Berndt for par, Paul Dennie for par and Harland Johnson for bogey.
