     A lively crew of 47 golfers turned out for the Bob Savre Senior Men’s League, forming 12 teams to battle it out across four flights, Stableford style.

   League results for June 3 are:

   The team winning first place in the first flight included: Tom Theisen, 35; Jan Pyzik, 34; Jeff Simons, 33; Steven Day, 29; with a total score of 131.

   The team taking home first place in the second flight included: Jerry Varner, 38; Mike Paulson, 36; Rocky Berndt, 32; Greg Debelak, 32; for a total score of 138.

   The team that secured first in the third flight included: Craig Seveson, 35; Paul Dennie, 34; Jim Franz, 34; Dale Hillstrom, 30; for a total of 133.

   The winners of the fourth flight included: Roger Frank, 37; Al Hartmann, 35; Dave Fox, 33; Rod Bothast, 28; for a score of 133.

   Ray Zittlow earned the low gross of the day with his 78. Low net ended in a three-way tie between Jerry Varner, Marc Schonwise and Bill McKee this week with their 85-15=70, 94-24=70 and 97-27=70, respectively.

   Mike Press was closest to the pin on No. 12 at 14’4”. Closest to the pin on No. 17 was Tom Novak at 10”. Terry Paul had the longest putt on No. 7, while Lowell Holland had the longest putt on No. 14. 

   Chip-ins were made by Tony Rannow for birdie and for bogey, Ray Zittlow for par, Mike Paulson for par, Doug Hoopman for bogey and Greg Debelak for double bogey.
