   A timeless classic comes to the stage at Walker Bay Theater as On Golden Pond opens on August 13. With its poignant moments interspersed with comedic relief, this production provides something for everyone. Cast members include four who were a part of a previous (2018) production.  Dave Holk, co-director (with Jessie Funk) and producer commented, “So many of the dialog lines came right back, it was like we had done this just yesterday”.  Holk went on to say, “this cast features some strong performers, as did the previous edition. Rehearsals continue daily as does set building and all the background preparation needed to produce an entertaining show”.  

   Eight performances are planned from August 13 through August 24. Wednesday and Sunday shows are matinee performances at 3 p.m., Friday and Saturday shows are at 7 p.m. Ticket prices are $20 for adults, $15 for students and seniors (over 62).    Cast members include Dave Holk as Norman Thayer Jr, Priscilla Smith as Ethel Thayer, Jessie Funk as daughter Chelsea, Joe Hart as Bill Ray, Sr, Isaias McMurrin as Billy Ray Jr,  Joe Hallbeck as Charlie Martin (the mailman) and Lori Gamache as “The Operator”.
