There will be services at the Lutheran Church at Inguadona on August 9th. All are welcome.
Cyril Kline and Joe Robinson returned to Wabedo Thursday after working the past month in Wisconsin at a canning factory.
Hilda Berger, who is working at John Huffman’s resort spent Sunday afternoon and evening with her parents at Kego.

Mr. and Mrs. Atwood and Phyllis and Mr. and Mrs. Engstrand and Wm. Crandall and Mr. and Mrs. Haugen and family attended the Farm Bureau picnic at Maple Lake.
Raymond Miller, 30, and Caroline Wind, 16, of Federal Dam applied for a marriage license.
A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Harvey McClimek at the Cass Lake Indian hospital on July 20, 1950

July 31, 1975
Cattle rustling is alive and well in Cass County. A steer was killed from the E.J. Hasser farm and butchered on the public access road to Blackwater Lake.
Kenneth Whitebird, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Whitebird of Federal Dam, has been accepted as a student at the U of MN Technical College at Crookston where he will major in Natural Resources technology.
Edith Stewart Kahl was born in a logging camp cook shack on the north shore of Four Point Lake in 1897 and delivered by an Indian woman named Peance. Robert Stewart homestead was 5 miles east of Hackensack. She was the first white child born in the area.

Leo and Bonnie Renn are Harvest Grand Marshalls. Leo was born in 1931 in Remer to Leo and Gladys Renn Sr., and Bonnie was born in Remer in 1932 to Amanda and David Bushaw.
Seniors Recognition Night will be held at the Remer Garden Club Park where 5 ladies will be honored who have made outstanding contributions to the Northland Alliance Church’s support group for foreign missions.
In celebration of their 45th wedding anniversary, Glenn and Donna Witham are celebrating with an Open House on August 5th at their home in Hackensack.
