   This week’s game at Tianna Country Club challenged ladies to count their strokes to reach the green, with putts tallied separately. The winners were the golfers with the fewest strokes to reach the green. Congratulations to this week’s winners: MJ Warren, Cathy Wierzbicki, Paula Pederson, and Kathy Hoffman.

   A total of 28 golfers participated, with many earning pars and even a few birdies. Cathy Wierzbicki scored a birdie on hole 8, and Kathy Hoffman had one on hole 2. Pars were recorded by Pat Ripken and Sherry Ertz on 2, Cathy Wierzbicki on 3, 5, and 7, Paula Pederson on 2 and 3, Kathy Trimble on 2, and Jan Gandy on 6.

   After the round, many golfers stayed to enjoy lunch, socialize, and share laughs (and excuses) about the day’s more challenging shots.
