   According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on July 14, 2025 at 12:59 p.m., a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Anna Marie Damm, age 33 of Marrifield, MN was driving southbound on highway 6 near Ziers Lane, and entered the northbound lane. A 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe operated by James Roger Thielen, age 65 of Outing, MN, was driving northbound in the same area and was struck by the Chrysler. Thielen was not injured in the crash. Damm suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center for further treatment. Both were wearing seatbelts at the time of the incident, and alcohol is not believed to be a factor. 

   Assisting at the scene was the Outing Fire Department.
