   Hackensack’s annual Sweetheart Days celebration comes to a close Tuesday, July 15, with a day packed full of activities for all ages.

   Start your morning at the Hackensack Hub with the weekly Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Over on Birch Lake, the Kids Fishing Contest runs from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., while kids who’d rather stay on land can enjoy games at the Lion’s Club Pavilion from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

   The fun continues into the evening with live music at the Hackensack Legion from 5 to 8 p.m. At 5:30 p.m., don’t miss the fifth annual pet parade on First Street, immediately followed by the always-popular Sweetheart Days Parade at 6 p.m. Wrap up the night with the Legion’s raffle drawing at 7:30 p.m.

   Whether you’ve joined in all week or are just catching the final festivities, Sweetheart Days offers something for everyone.
