   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 45 golfers forming 12 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole” at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for July 8 are:

   First place ended in a tie with a score of 202 between: Terry Paul, 67; Doug Hoopman, 70; Steve Johnson, 79; Lowell Holland, 80 AND Jerry Varner, 65; Mike Press, 72; Cy Sorrells, 75; Bob Lindeman, 79.

   The team walking home with third place with a 203 included: Tim Klosner, 72; Brent Jacobson, 73; Steven Day, 74; Jim Ernst, 76.

   Fourth place was shared by two teams with their 207, including: Bill McKee, 72; Paul Dennie, 74; Neil Mandsager, 77; Jim Lewis, 79 AND Tony Rannow, 71; Mike Olson, 73; Mark Nichols, 75; Steve Carolus, 79. 

   Mike Olson earned the low gross of the day with his 75. Low net was won by Jerry Varner with his 80-15=65.

   Steven Day was closest to the pin on hole 12 at 6’8”. Closest to the pin on 17 was Scott Agre at 5’6”. Guy Reierson had the longest putt on hole 9, while Terry Paul had the longest putt on 14. 

   Chip-ins were made by Bob Vaughn for birdie, Bob Seemann for birdie, Jerry Varner for birdie, Bob Lindeman for birdie, Craig Severson for par, Jocko Kline for bogey and Bob Lindeman for double bogey.
