Mark your calendars for Friday, July 11, when world-renowned percussionist Josh Duffee brings his Blackhawk Broadcasters to Hackensack for a Lakeside Concert that you don’t want to miss!
Many of you know Josh for his two-day music festivals in the Hackensack Community Center that focused on jazz and big band legends. This year’s smaller group will include audience-favorite band members who will join Josh to play an eclectic mix of music. Fun and spontaneity will ensue!
Josh considers Hackensack his second home, and we welcome him back with open arms in this new format. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the concert in Birch Lake Park near the Lucette sculpture and pier. Beverages and food will be available to purchase and enjoy or get a “to go” order from your favorite restaurant.
The performance will run from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. In case of rain, the performance will move to the Hackensack Community Center (please bring your lawn chairs.) There is no admission fee, but donations will be gratefully accepted to help the NAC continue to bring quality events to our area.
The Northwoods Arts Council is a 501C3 non-profit organization whose mission is” Bringing the Arts to Life” in North Central Minnesota. We wish to acknowledge the Hackensack Lion’s Club, Five Wings Arts Council, Sourcewell, HLACF, Itasca Mantrap, and superfan Steve Saulnier for their generous support in sponsoring Josh’s Lakeside Concert.
