Susan Jean Falk, age 59, passed away on December 26, 2025, surrounded by the greatest loves of her life—her two daughters.
She was born on April 18, 1966, in St. Paul, Minnesota, and raised by her adoring parents, Carl and Mary Falk. From the very beginning, Susan carried a warmth and kindness that would define her life and touch everyone who knew her.
Susan was truly one of a kind—caring, lovable, outgoing, and endlessly joyful. Her smile was constant, her laugh contagious, and her presence comforting. She had a rare gift for making people feel seen, welcomed, and loved, and she carried that gift with her everywhere she went.
Above all else, Susan was an amazing mom and a devoted grandma. Her daughters were her pride, and her grandchildren, Jude and Sutton, were her greatest joy. She loved them fiercely and unconditionally, and her love will continue to guide them every day. Family meant everything to Susan, and she built her life around showing up for the people she loved.

Susan was a proud United States Air Force veteran, a reflection of her strength, dedication, and service to others. She later spent many years working in local schools before continuing her commitment to the community as a Deputy Recorder at the Cass County Courthouse. Throughout her life, she was surrounded by many caring friends who became like family.
She found happiness in simple, beautiful things—gardening, antiques, history, shopping, sunshine on her face, margaritas shared with friends, blooming flowers, and quiet moments with her cats. She had a deep and steady faith in God, which brought her peace, comfort, and guidance. Few things brought her more joy than time spent with her children and grandchildren or watching a peaceful snowfall during the holiday season.
Susan is survived by her daughters, Kristi (Jeremie) Blondin and Katie Rubitschung; her beloved grandchildren, Jude and Sutton Blondin; her sister, Julie Fallgren; her brother, Daniel (Lynn) Falk; many cousins, nephews, and close friends; and her best friend, Linda Kaiser, who shared countless memories and unwavering friendship.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mary Falk; her grandparents; and many cherished family friends who now welcome her home.
A public funeral service will be held on January 10, 2026, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hackensack, MN.
Susan leaves behind a love that cannot be measured and a space that can never be filled. Though our hearts ache in her absence, her kindness, her laughter, and her unconditional love will live on forever in all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
