   The volunteers of the Arts Center are celebrating Longville’s transformation into a vibrant arts destination within a revitalized community. When we opened The Arts Center two years ago in the former home of Lori’s Luvs, our hope was to play a role in that renewal. Today, with businesses like Karma, The Chocolate Turtle, Pine & Paddle, and Metal and Wood adding their own creative energy, Longville is thriving once again.

   Together with the Margret Welch Library, we continue to nurture art education, while offering local artists a place to showcase and sell their work—alongside partners such as Women of Today and Arts Off 84.

   From Tuesday, August 26 through Saturday, August 30, the Longville Lakes Arts Center will celebrate with a 10% discount on artwork by local artists. The festivities continue that weekend, August 30–31, with the Arts Off 84 Crawl, which will draw hundreds of visitors eager to discover and purchase locally made art and crafts.

   Our vision is becoming reality: Longville is not only a creative destination, but also a welcoming Up North home for all who love making art, buying art, and gathering to celebrate creativity.
