The Hackensack Lending Library is moving back “home” after spending summer 2025 in temporary quarters north of First National Bank in Hackensack. Because of this, the library will be closed in September to facilitate the boxing of books, moving of shelves, and reshelving of volumes in the almost finished log cabin on the banks of Birch Lake. They look forward to welcoming visitors June 1, 2026 in the lovely library where you don’t need a library card to check out a book. Photo submitted.
