     A lively crew of 47 golfers turned out for the Bob Savre Senior Men’s League, forming 13 teams to battle it out across four flights, Stableford style.

   League results for Aug. 12 are:

   The team winning first place in the first flight included: Ray Zittlow, 36; Craig Anderson, 36; Paul Dennie, 35 and Mike Press, 33 for a total score of 140.

   The team taking home first place in the second flight included: Brad Duhr, 37; Hadley Hooker, 37; Lowell Holland, 32 and Danny Divot, 32 for a total score of 138.

   In the third flight, the team walking away with first place included: Mark Nichols, 39; Harland Johnson, 35; Dale Hillstrom, 34 and Randy Noecker, 27 for total scores of 135.

   The winners of the fourth flight included: Al Hartmann, 39; Tim Bykowski, 34; Sammy Slicer, 32 and Roger Frank, 27 for a total of 132.

   Mark Nichols and Al Hartmann tied for the most stableford points of the day with 39 each. Mike Olson took home the low gross of the day with his 76. Low net was won by Mark Nichols with his 87-18=69.

   Scott Agre was closest to the pin on hole 12 at 1’4”. Closest to the pin on hole 17 was Jim Zierden at 3’3”. Scott Agre had the longest putt on hole 7, while Mark Schonwise had the longest putt on hole 13. 

   Chip-ins were made by Steven Day for birdie, Neil Mandsager for birdie and Jerry Varner for birdie, Terry Paul for par and Paul Dennie for triple bogey.
