   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 50 golfers forming 13 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole” at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for July 29 are:

   The team winning first place with a 201 included: Terry Paul, 71; Harland Johnson, 71; Mike Olson, 75; Greg Danaher, 77.

   The team walking home with second place with a 207 included: Tom Theisen, 71; Danny Divot, 71; Craig Severson, 73; Tim Klosner, 82.

   Two teams went home with third place with their 209: Bob Savre, 72; Rocky Berndt, 73; Kenny Schlief, 76; Jocko Kline, 84 AND Jim Sletten, 70; Hadley Hooker, 73; Randy Noecker, 75; Guy Reierson, 78.

   Fifth place was shared by three teams with their 210, including: Bill McKee, 71; Steve Johnson, 74; Mark Nichols, 78; Tom Novak, 81; AND Al Hartmann, 70; Greig Payne, 71; Jan Pyzik, 79; Marc Schonwise, 80; AND Ray Zittlow, 75; Bob Seemann, 75; Doug Hoopman, 76; Tim Bykowski, 87. 

   Mike Olson and Lowell Holland earned the low gross of the day with their 76. Low net was shared by Jim Sletten and Al Hartmann, with their 86-16=70 and 103-33=70, respectively.

   Steven Day was closest to the pin on hole 12 at 5’9”. Closest to the pin on 17 was Terry Paul at 8’6”. Rod Bothast had the longest putt on hole 4, while Dallas Anderson had the longest putt on 16. 

   Chip-ins were made by Terry Paul, Rocky Berndt and Jerry Varner for birdie; Harland Johnson and Greig Payne for par and Tom Novak for bogey.
