Neil was born in Remer and attended Longville area schools. Shortly after graduation, Neil joined the U.S. Marine Corp. He went onto become an over-the-road trucker in the United States and Canada. He even had a license to drive truck in the Hawaiian Islands. Neil was known as a daredevil and routinely hauled dangerous materials across the country.

He loved "Big Sky Country" so when he retired, he moved to Boseman, MT. He passed away from cancer at the VA Hospital in Bozeman.

He is survived by his siblings Arlene Jackson (Minneapolis, MN), Audrey (Sam) Mahon (Elk River, MN) and Chester Bandemer (Longville, MN), his children: John and Brenda Bandemer (Twin Cities, MN), Rhonda Bandemer (Stockton, CA), Kaylee (Casey) Zaffke (Longville, MN) and Matt Bandemer (Longville, MN) and several grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the Longville cemetery on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 1:00 pm.[[In-content Ad]]
