REMER - Jack Beaver, age 66 of Remer, MN, passed away peacefully at Grand Village in Grand Rapids, MN. Jack was born on February 1, 1945 to Harold and Agnes (Cink) Beaver in Oakes, ND. He grew up in Stirum, ND and graduated from North Sargent High School in Gwinner, ND in 1963. He continued his education at NDSU, Fargo, ND, graduating with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering in May 1967.

Jack married Janice Pritzkau on December 28, 1966 in Napoleon, ND. They lived a short time in Fargo, ND and then moved to New Hope, MN where Jack began his employment with Honeywell, Inc. in June, 1967. Jack worked in Engineering and Management at Honeywell for 30 years.

Jack enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, snowmobiling, and playing cards. Besides his family, Jack's greatest love was his lake home near Remer, MN, which he and his family built.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Vivian and Janice who died in infancy; sister-in-law, Doreen Beaver; and nephew, Mark Beaver.

Jack is survived by his wife of 44 years, Janice; two sons, Richard (Rae) of Elk River, MN and Robert (Darla) of Cohasset, MN; five grandchildren, Bradley, Belinda of Elk River, MN and Alaina, Kate and Kalli of Cohasset, MN; two brothers, Clifford (Delores) Beaver of Forman, ND and Richard Beaver of Gwinner, ND; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 10 am with the Funeral Service following at 11 am on Friday, November 18th at the United Methodist Church in Grand Rapids, MN. Rev. Marva Jean Hutchens will officiate.
