Darold J. Moore, age 77, of Hackensack, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at his home. He was born to Elmer and Leora Moore on March 14, 1941. Darold was born and raised in the Somers, IA area before moving to Minnesota in 1960. He attended Dunwoody Institute was employed as a mechanic with various auto dealerships. In 1989 he became employed with North Memorial Ambulance and recently completely retired in 2018. Darold enjoyed hunting and fishing and also loved to work on and rebuild old cars.

Darold is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ilean; daughters: Kari (Craig) Henningson of Deerwood, MN, Heidi (Keith Cory) Moore of Middleton, ID, Kristina (Tim) Juaire of St. Joseph, MN; twin brother, Gerald (Kariline) Moore; brother, Russell Moore; 5 grandchildren: Cory and Carman Henningson, Ashley and Zachery Juaire, Austin Cory; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 14, at Salem Lutheran Church in Longville, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, with lunch following the service. Burial will be in Cedar Township Cemetery near Rinard, IA, at a later date. Memorials may be sent to: Family of Darold Moore, 4711 Twin Pine Trail NW, Hackensack, MN 56452. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
