Cass County Sheriff Bryan Welk reports that on Saturday October 4th, 2025, at 2:24 a.m., the Cass County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of an assault in the area of 925 Grant Utley Ave SW in the City of Cass Lake.
The County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 1 bridge over the South Fork of the Pine River, just south of the City of Pine River, was closed effective October 7 for an indefinite period due to some structural concerns with the existing timber pile.
