    The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 51 golfers forming 13 teams show up to play the game of the day “Low Net Scores on Each Hole” at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for July 14 are:

   The team winning first place, with a 205 included: Tom Novak, 76; Jim Sletten, 81; Steve Johnson, 68; Tim Bykowski, 76.

   The team that walked away with second place, with a 209 included: Jerry Varner, 73; Terry Paul, 77; Dallas Anderson, 78; Roger Frank, 73.

   Third place was split by two teams with a 211, including: Brent Jacobson, 71; Greg Danaher, 81; Randy Noeker, 74; Ernie Pulido, 80; AND Guy Reierson, 76; Paul Dennie, 81; Steve Carolus, 68; Bill McKee, 76.

   The team that earned fifth place with a 213 included: Lowell Holland, 81; Dave Klosner, 74; Bob Vaugn, 68; Jeff Clark, 79.

   Mike Olson and Tom Wierzbicki won the low gross of the day with a 78. Low net was shared by Steve Johnson and Bob Vaughn, both with a 90-22=68. 

   Bob Vaughn was closest to the pin on No. 12 at 8’11”. Closest to the pin on No. 17 was Neil Mandsager at 8’11”. Dallas Anderson had the longest putt on No. 9, while Tom Theisen had the longest putt on No. 18. 

   Chip-ins were made by Brent Jacobson for birdie on No. 10, Joe Maertens for par on No. 4 and Brad Duhr for par on No. 13.
