   This week’s league game featured a fun twist, as golfers were told that three holes would be crossed off their scores—but they wouldn’t learn which holes until everyone had finished the round. Holes 2, 6 and 8 were ultimately selected, allowing golfers to replace their scores on those holes with a par. The format proved especially beneficial for those who had struggled on those holes, while golfers who had already recorded pars weren’t nearly as excited.

   First-place honors went to Kathy Hoffman with a 32, followed by Sandy Emery and Paula Pederson, who each finished with a 36. Second-place finishers were Karen Anderson and Ann Owen with 37s, and Jan Gandy with a 39. Taking third place were Sherry Ertz with a 41, followed by Jean Blomme and Margie Richardson, who each carded a 42.

   Several golfers recorded pars during the round. Margie Richardson, Kathy Trimble, Kathy Hoffman and Jan Gandy each made par on Hole 2, while Hoffman also carded a par on Hole 7. Kathy Trimble added a highlight to her round with a chip-in on Hole 4.
