County hearings set to discuss possible revisions to Soo Line Trail ordinance
REMER - Cass County Board will hold public hearings at the regular board meetings Sept. 7 at 11 a.m. the courthouse in Walker and Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. at East Gull Lake City Hall on a proposed revised Soo Line Trail ordinance.

BACKUS - More Cass County homesteaded properties but fewer cabins went into foreclosure the third quarter this year than in 2009. Cass County Assessor Mark Peterson reported Tuesday to the county board that 35 properties went into foreclosure the third quarter this year, compared with 33 last year.
