  Gregg Laurence Otteson born April 2, 1950, died February 9, 2026, of Parkinson’s Disease.

   Survived by; wife, Amanda Joy Otteson. Stepfather to Susan Hartnett (Dennis), Anna Hartnett (Dan) and Patrick Hartnett (deceased). Beloved Poppy to; Michael Benscoter (Brix), Molly Polley (Mike), Matthew Benscoter, Caitlin Hall, Dominic Friedlein (Hannah) and Miranda Kurth (Cody) and many Great Grandchildren. Gregg is also survived by brother; Grant Otteson and sister Gail Otteson-Goldberg (Michael).

   Gregg is preceded in death by parents; Glenn and Gwen Otteson and brothers Gene and Gary Otteson.

   Gregg dedicated his life to Human Services and a grower in the greenhouse industry. His passions were photography, art, music, reading and writing.

   Thank you to White Pines Memory Care and Olive Grove Hospice for their friendship, compassion and kindness caring for him with great love his hardest days.

   Gregg donated his body to the U of M Bequest Program for medical education, research and training to advance healthcare. A service of Gratitude for Gregg and other donors will be held at Northrop Auditorium, May 30, 2026, at 2pm. Family will have a memorial service at a future date.
