Arrowhead Builders Supply changes hands

On February 1, after 27 years at the helm of Longville’s Arrowhead Builders Supply, Tom and Kathy Dollins (left) have passed the keys to new owner Ben Desjardins. A native of White Bear Lake, Desjardins was attracted to the area grouse hunting and dirt biking the Paul Bunyan State Forest. After retiring from the Army Reserves as Staff Sergeant, Desjardins searched the country for a business opportunity finding Longville in the process. “I’m excited to establish myself here, it’s an area that I have grown to love over the years.” The Dollins’ will not be fully retiring until later this year. “This community has been so kind to us over the past 27 years, we look forward to giving back in the coming years,” stated Kathy.  Photo by Dave DeLost.
