The Blackwater Lake Youth Fishing Setup Giveaway for children and grandchildren of cabin owners held on Saturday, August 10th was a great event and hosted by the Blackwater Lake Association.
The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 41 golfers forming 11 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole” at Longbow Golf Club.
St. Paul, MN: The elm zigzag sawfly, an invasive insect new to Minnesota, was recently discovered. The elm zigzag sawfly was reported by a citizen on iNaturalist, and later spotted on the platform by an out-of-state college student working on the insect.
Hunters can apply for special youth deer hunt permits through Friday, Aug. 16. The number of permits for each hunt is limited. Individual hunts will be held in several state parks on various dates in the fall.
