Cass County Sheriff Bryan Welk reports that on July 22nd 2024 at 8:21 p.m. the Cass County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a theft of fuel from a retailer in Hackensack, MN, valued at $259.55.
Outdoors - Fishing tournament
Everything is competitive. Even things that are meant to be relaxing, such as fishing, can be made a competitive sport. On Friday night, our grandson, Zane, decided we needed to have a fishing tournament.

I would give us an A+ today! Everything felt good. We had just a beautiful day...cool, light breeze and lots of sunshine! A perfect day to come to town for the Turtle races...and they did!

Church of Cash returns to Music in the Park July 28
A tribute to Johnny Cash will be the final concert in the Music in the Park summer concert series on Sunday, July 28, in Longville. The Church of Cash kicks returns at 5 p. m. at the gazebo in the park area of Salem Lutheran Church, 1340 County Road 5.
