Lions Blood Drive Aug. 21
The third of Longville’s four blood drives, sponsored by the Longville Lions, will be held at St. Edward’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 21, from 12:30 to 5:45 p.m.
Longville Library celebrates additions Aug. 16
The Margaret Welch Memorial Library will host a celebration the new library addition, locally built furnishings and artwork on Friday, August 16 from 1 to 3 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
Auxiliary Post 202 Breakfast Aug. 18
Hackensack American Legion Auxiliary Unit 202 will serve breakfast from 8:30 until 11:30 a.m. Sunday, August 18th at the Club.

The Longville Young At Heart Senior Club host cribbage every Wednesday at 1 p.m. The club hosts 500 on the second and fourth Thursday of each month.

The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 43 golfers forming 11 teams for play in three flights with Stableford scoring.

Deer hunting regulations and hunting licenses available
Hunters reviewing the 2024 Minnesota hunting regulations will find season details in most areas of Minnesota similar to what they were last year, including northern areas with lower bag limits intended to increase deer populations. Deer hunting licenses can be purchased starting Thursday, Aug. 1.
