Lakeside Concert Series in Hackensack
The Northwoods Arts Council’s Lakeside Concert Series continues Friday, August 28, with a performance by Third Wheel. The concert will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Birch Lake Park Pavilion in Hackensack.

Walk-In Access Program awarded $2.1M; lands open Sept. 1

A magical day of art and literature
The Northwoods Art and Book Festival was held on Saturday, August 8 in Hackensack and was a roaring success. A record number of visitors came to enjoy “the longest running art and literature event in Minnesota” at which 65 artists and 35 authors share their work.
