WALKER -- Cass County has sold 327.48 acres on 37 land parcels valued at $515,785 so far this year. That includes 13 parcels sold over the counter at the land department office in Backus and another 24 parcels sold at a July 11 annual auction.
WALKER -- Cass County will receive a $1,234,664 state payment in lieu of taxes and a $106,987 state wildlife management (formerly public hunting grounds) funds in 2019.

HACKENSACK -- Cass County Board voted unanimously Tuesday, Sept. 17, to purchase the county's next generation enhanced 911 emergency radio system from its current supplier rather than Motorola.
