Hackensack Game Changers:
Let’s make it snow, one snowflake at a time!
The roads are finished, the traffic cones are gone, and now Hackensack is ready for the fun part! After months of construction, Hackensack has a beautiful new corridor, pretty side streets and the Hackensack Game Changers Snowflake & Banners Team has one more little idea up its sleeve.
Actually, it’s 20 ideas shaped like snowflakes and lots of winter banners of Lucette enjoying activities in the snow! The team is making a final push to add 20 more LED snowflakes to the new lampposts on the east side of Highway 371, along with additional colorful winter banners featuring our favorite gal, Lucette, enjoying some of her favorite snowy adventures.
If we must endure Minnesota winters, we might as well make them sparkle! These aren’t your ordinary snowflakes and banners. The LED snowflakes come in four beautiful styles, are made in the USA, carry a six-year warranty and cost just under $500 each. The whimsical winter banners cost less than $70 and are guaranteed to make you smile.
And here’s where we need everyone’s help. Want to sponsor a snowflake? Please Do! Want to honor a family member, friend, favorite pet or perhaps someone who simply loves snow? Absolutely! Businesses, churches, lake associations, clubs, families and groups of friends can all join the fun.
No donation is too small. Every contribution helps bring Hackensack closer to the goal of turning our sweet town into a winter wonderland.
Imagine driving into town on a dark winter evening and seeing the snowflakes glowing along the highway. Add Lucette’s cheerful banners, a little fresh snow and a whole lot of hometown pride and suddenly winter doesn’t seem quite so cold.
So, to everyone that loves Hackensack, this is our final push. Let’s finish what we started and give those new lampposts something to smile about. Let’s make it snow with light, laughter, love and a whole lot of Hackensack spirit!
