   Local area nonprofit Happy Dancing Turtle will host Open Garden time from 1-4 pm on Thursday,September 17. Learn what the garden team is doing (and is not doing) to prepare for winter and get ideas to maximize soil health and support birds and beneficial insects even in the colder months. Explore what cool season crops are growing in the hoop house or simply wander and enjoy the last hurrah of colorful flowers including sunflowers, zinnias, cosmos, calendula and many more! This event is free and no registration is required.
