    The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 51 golfers forming 13 teams show up to play the game of the day “Low Net Scores on Each Hole” at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for September 8 are:

   The team winning first place, with a 204 included: Jim Sletten, 66; Jocko Kline, 72; Brad Duhr, 73 and Bill McKee, 85.

   Second place ended in a tie with a 206, teams included: Dave Klosner, 70; Kenny Schleif, 70; Al Hartmann, 73 and Tim Bykowski, 82 AND Terry Paul, 69; Tom Novak, 71; Paul Dennie, 73; Craig Anderson, 77 and Jerry Varner, 80.

   The team coming in fourth place, with a 207 included: Tom Wierzbicki, 71; Sandy Trap, 73; Dallas Anderson, 75 and Mike Fortman. 

   The team walking home with second place with a 208 included: Dale Hillstrom, 71; Steve Carolus, 73; Scott Agre, 78 and Jeff Clark, 78.

   Tom Wierzbicki took home low gross of the day with a 77 this week. Low net went to Jim Sletten with his 86-20=66. 

   Paul Dennie was closest to the pin on No. 2 at 8’0”. Closest to the pin on No. 12 was Mike Press at 7’9”. Jim Lewis had the longest putt on No. 3 at 22’ 8”, while Terry Paul had the longest putt on No. 14 at 33’. 

   Chip-ins were made by Terry Paul for a birdie, Rocky Berndt for a birdie, Doug Hoopman for a birdie, Jocko Kline for par, John Hampson for par, Steve Carolus for par, Jan Pyzik for a bogey, Craig Severson for a bogey and Bob Savre for a double bogey.
