   The Fall crispness soon was overtaken by September sunshine and warm temperatures for the LongBow Ladies Golf League on its last regular day of play Sept. 2. Sixteen members teed off at 9 o’clock to play a version of Stableford. In this game, the highest point count wins!

   Winning team with 197 points included MJ Black, Pat McKee, Nancy McNeil, and Mary Jo Schleif. Second place with 195 points was Mary Kay Googins, Cindy Gross, Jean Marie Merrick, and Cathy Wierzbicki.

   Two playing the Short Course of 4,000 yards each scored 105 for low gross—Mary Hagelie and Mary Jo Schleif. Pat Roush had low gross from the League Red tees with a 91. Low net among the entire group was Cindy Gross with a 67.

   Nancy McNeil birdied Hole 6, and Mary Kay Googins birdied Hole 17.
