   Walker will celebrate diverse cultural heritage and community pride during the 33rd Annual Ethnic Fest on Saturday, Sept. 12.

The event brings vendors, artisans, live music, entertainment and food to downtown Walker.

   The celebration will begin Friday evening, Sept. 11, with an Ethnic Fest and Walker Bay Live collaboration at the Walker Rock Garden from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The evening will feature live music, food and drinks.

   Saturday’s festivities will officially get underway with the Main Street Parade at 11 a.m., followed by live music, food, vendors and entertainment throughout downtown Walker.

   Also on Saturday, “Lumberjack Creatures of the Northwoods,” presented by author, lecturer and researcher Chad Lewis and sponsored by Enbridge and Hatch Burrito, will be held at 1 p.m. in the Cass County Museum Research Room.

   The community is invited to come celebrate 33 years of Ethnic Fest in Walker.
