Bailey Ray Meyers, age 25, of Hackensack, MN passed away at his home on Thursday, August 27, 2026. He was born on September 6, 2000, in Rochester, MN, the son of Christopher and Sherrie (Goplen) Meyers.
Bailey graduated from Kasson-Mantorville High School in 2019 and spent time in the United States Army for a short time before returning home to Hackensack. He dabbled and accelerated in everything he tried. Bailey had various different jobs over the years like being a mechanic, a cook, working with underground utilities and a garage door specialist. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, playing video games, playing pool, and hanging out with his family and friends. Bailey took pride in helping people out and he was always the first in line to do so. He loved being around his fiancé Hailey and their children and going fast in vehicles. He was such a daredevil at heart. He also loved his mom and dad very much and found joy trying to learn and walk in his dad’s steps. Bailey will be sadly missed by all his family and friends who knew him.
The family that Bailey joins again are his grandparents; Gene Schueller, Ray and Myrtle Meyers, Steve Meyers, and Edward Gilbertson, Godmother; Sharon Gullickson, Uncle; Rod Henderson and Great Uncle; Gary Joe Gilbertson.
Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory are his parents; Christopher and Sherrie Meyers, fiancé Hailey Benton, son; Christopher Meyers, daughter; Skylar Meyers, sister; Emily (Fiancé Kurt) Meyers, nieces; Aria, Madi and Brynn, grandparents; Laurie (Dave) Barnes, Patsy Vandenberg, and Terry Meyers, great grandmothers; Evelyn Schueller and Laura Gilbertson, aunts, uncles and their families; Tricia (Andy) Becker, Danny (Tammy) Meyers, Bryan (Alicia) Meek, Mike (Britni) Meek, Jackie Manahan, Trevor (Leah) Meyers, Connie (Ted Alberts) Henderson, Kim (Dennis) Miller and Darren Goplen, other aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Two Celebrations of Life for Bailey will be held. First will be at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the Kasson American Legion Post 333 in Kasson, MN. The second will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Hackensack American Legion Post 202. There will be a time of sharing during the Celebration of Life. To help Bailey’s family a memorial fund has been set up at the 1st National Back in Hackensack under the Bailey Meyers Memorial Account. Please list either Bailey’s name or Christopher’s name when making a donation.
