Halloween fun across Lakeland communities

There’s spooky fun to be had in the Lakeland! Ghouls and ghosts of all ages will be lurking this Halloween for family-friendly fun. Area communities have planned safe Halloween trick-or-treating events for kids.

Remer

The 14th annual “Trunk or Treat” event returns this Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31, at the Northland School front parking lot from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.!

In addition to frightening fun, there will be food, face painting, candy and prizes for best costume and best decorated trunk. Come hungry as the High School Seniors will be serving sloppy joes, chips and water for a free will donation. Remer farmer’s market vendors will be in the commons 4 to 7 p.m.

Hackensack

The Hackensack Hub is once again hosting its community Trick-or-Treat event!

Since many of our community members live in areas where trick-or-treaters rarely visit, a central spot has been created for the candy to flow!

Bring your candy to hand out, decorate your table if you wish, and watching the excitement as kids make their way through!

Tables and chairs are provided and there is no cost to participate. Costumes are encouraged to add some extra fun!

Setup begins at 4 p.m., trick or treating runs from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

E-mail questions to [email protected] Everyone’s welcome. The Hub is on south First Street, next to the Post Office.
