   Local caregivers who provide primary care for an aging family member or someone with an identified need or chronic condition are invited to participate in a caregiver support group in Longville.

   The LSS Caregiver Support & Respite Services group meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church, 1340 County Road 5, Longville.

   The support group provides caregivers with an opportunity to connect with others who understand the challenges of caregiving while learning about resources and strategies that can help.

   Benefits of participating include a safe space to discuss experiences, building a supportive network with other family caregivers, and receiving information, training, tools and resources. Participants can also learn self-care tips to help manage the demands of caregiving.

   LSS offers affordable fees designed to fit individual budgets and is committed to serving caregivers regardless of their ability to pay.
